Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. You will review projects with customers and dispatch, and prepare sites for installation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, forklift ability, and adherence to safety standards. Weekend work may be required; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL preferred.
• 1 year truck driving experience; DOT medical card required before start.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Safely operate fencing truck and ensure load is secure.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Inspect fence installation tools for safety.
• Prepare job site and set/install fence per specifications.
• Coordinate work and train Fence Installation Associate on safety.
• Provide onsite moves and pickup/delivery of fencing.
• May operate forklift for loading/unloading.
