Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove and repair temporary fencing equipment, ensuring safety and courteous service.

You will meet with customers, prepare sites, set poles, install and coordinate with the team while following safety guidelines. CDL preferred, 1 year truck driving, 2 years fencing/ construction experience preferred. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1 year of truck driving experience required (CDL license preferred).
• DOT medical card must be obtained prior to starting employment.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow safe driving procedures.
• Ability to operate a forklift (training provided).
• Excellent customer service, communication skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Safely operate a fencing truck daily and ensure proper load securement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Inspect fence installation tools for safe operation.
• Ensure truck is loaded with required equipment/materials.
• Meet with customer to review projects and follow up during installation.
• Prepare customer job site for fence installation.
• Set fence poles and install fence per customer specs.
• Coordinate and supervise Fence Installation Associate work.
• Train Associate on safety protocols and fence techniques.
• Repair temporary fencing units as needed at the job site.
• Provide onsite moves and pickup/delivery of fencing.
• May operate forklift for loading/unloading and material moves.
• Assist with other Reliable OnSite Services offerings.
