Job summary

United Rentals is hiring a Fence Installation Driver for Reliable Onsite Services in the United States. You will deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing while ensuring safety, timely service, and excellent customer communication.

Responsibilities include operating a fencing truck, performing inspections, loading equipment, coordinating with a Fence Installation Associate, and assisting with related rental equipment duties. A valid license and prior driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• 1 year of truck driving experience required; DOT medical card needed before starting.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and knowledge of safe driving procedures.
• Ability to operate forklift (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Operate fencing truck safely and secure loads.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Inspect tools for safe operation.
• Ensure truck carries required materials for installations.
• Review fencing projects with customers before installation and follow up.
• Set fence poles and install fencing per customer specs.
• Coordinate and supervise Fence Installation Associate; train on safety and techniques.
• Repair temporary fencing units as needed at job sites.
• Provide onsite moves and fencing equipment deliveries to customers.
• May operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading on company property.
