Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove and repair temporary fencing equipment in a safe, timely, and courteous manner, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining open communication with dispatch.

You will follow safety guidelines, operate the fencing truck, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure equipment, meet with customers to review projects, install fences, coordinate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1 year truck driving experience preferred (CDL preferred).
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Safely operate a fencing truck daily and ensure load securement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Inspect fence installation tools for safety and proper operation.
• Load truck with necessary equipment/materials for installations.
• Meet with customers to review fencing projects prior to installation.
• Set fence poles and install fences per customer specs.
• Coordinate work of Fence Installation Associate and inspect progress.
• Provide onsite moves and delivery/pickup of fencing as requested.
