Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment with strong customer service in a safety-conscious role. The position requires operating a fencing truck, performing inspections, and coordinating with team members to ensure installations meet customer specifications.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and 1 year of truck driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• 1 year truck driving experience required; DOT medical card needed before start.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Must follow safety guidelines and load securement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing equipment safely and courteously.
• Operate fencing truck and ensure proper load securement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and tools.
• Set fence poles and install fencing according to customer specs.
• Coordinate with the Fence Installation Associate and train on safety procedures.
• Provide on-site customer review and follow-up for each project.
• Assist with loading/unloading and basic forklift tasks as needed.
• Contribute to other Reliable OnSite Services rental equipment offerings.
