Job summary

Ambipar is seeking a Project Manager to lead FEMA disaster recovery initiatives, Public Assistance programs, and related emergency management projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and documentation while coordinating with FEMA, COR3, and other stakeholders.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of progressive PM experience, with knowledge of FEMA requirements, federal grants, and cross‑agency coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience.
• Knowledge of FEMA Public Assistance and disaster recovery operations.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and government stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, analytical and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to closeout including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and FEMA stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare status reports and required deliverables in compliance with program requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation and financial reconciliation with Grants Manager.
