Job summary

Smith+Naphew seeks a Fellows' Manager to develop lifelong advocates across Sports Medicine, Adult Reconstruction, and Trauma in the Western United States. You will build meaningful relationships with fellows and fellowship programs, helping ensure exposure to Smith+Naphew technologies, techniques, and educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience within medical device sales, medical education, clinical specialist, market development, orthopedic healthcare, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic operating room procedures, training processes, and surgeon education.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with fellows and fellowship programs across the Western Region.
• Serve as the primary Smith+Naphew expert for the fellows segment and create engagement strategies that increase awareness of our technologies and educational offerings.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of fellowship programs, fellow engagement, training curricula, and exposure to Smith+Naphew products and techniques.
• Identify educational gaps and coordinate targeted learning opportunities that expand fellows' exposure to Smith+Naphew technologies.
• Drive attendance and awareness for regional and national fellows' education programs.
• Lead the Transition to Practice process, partnering with commercial teams for a seamless entry into independent practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams to maximize engagement with fellowship programs.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement customized educational programs for individual fellows programs.
• Prioritize fellowship programs based on engagement, value, and business objectives; ensure resources are aligned.
• Share best practices across the Fellows' Manager team and provide regular reporting on activities and outcomes.
• Support fellowship programs across North America through team coverage as needed.
• Travel domestically up to 50%.
