Ag 1 Source seeks a Feedyard General Manager to lead all aspects of day-to-day operations while building a culture where employees, customers, and cattle thrive.

This hands-on leader will drive accountability, develop people, strengthen customer relationships, and oversee cattle health, feed mill operations, equipment, and safety compliance to ensure top performance.

You will collaborate with veterinarians, nutritionists, and ownership to execute strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of feedyard, cattle feeding, or beef industry experience.
• Proven leadership ability across multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of cattle health, nutrition, and feedyard operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop employees across all departments.
• Oversee cattle receiving, health, feeding, and shipping activities.
• Direct feed mill operations, ration accuracy, and mill efficiency.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental requirements.
