Job summary

Versova is seeking a Feed Mill Technician for the Croton, Ohio site to support daily production, ingredient inventory, and timely feed delivery. The role collaborates with the Feed Mill Manager to maintain safe operations and accurate scheduling within a busy mill environment.

Responsibilities include operating the feed mill, maintaining quality controls, managing ingredient loads, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of general work experience.
• Familiar with Windows OS, Word, Excel, and Windows-based programs (Beta Raven, FMM, LogMeIn).
• Knowledge of safe work practices including PPE, fall protection, electrical safety, forklift operation, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with quality, food safety, and site safety policies.
• Enter loads for the day into FMM and BrownDelta/Beta Raven systems (as applicable).
• Manage ingredient inventories and ensure correct feed placement and timing in houses.
• Deliver finished feed safely and accurately to bins and ensure proper loads.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document maintenance concerns with action plans.
• Unload trucks, manage traffic in receiving area, and support production scheduling.
