Job summary

Versova is seeking a Feed Mill Technician to support daily feed production, coordinate schedules, and operate the feed mill in a safety-conscious environment. The role emphasizes inventory control, quality standards, and timely delivery across multiple facilities.

You will assist the Feed Mill Manager, maintain batching and receiving systems, complete paperwork, and uphold company core values while working in a dynamic feed manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Windows OS, Word, Excel, and learn Windows-based programs (Beta Raven, FMM, LogMeIn).
• Understanding of site safety, PPE, and hazardous-energy control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Promote company values and culture.
• Ensure proper bin placement for ingredients and communicate loads.
• Enter loads into FMM and maintain inventory.
• Support Feed Mill Manager with inventory and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor batching system for efficiency and correct routing.
• Record ingredient loads in Raven receiving system.
• Complete required paperwork and document maintenance actions.
• Deliver finished feed to designated bins safely and accurately.
• Ensure correct feed placement in houses at the right times.
• Collect and bag samples for each load delivered.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on transportation equipment.
• Manage traffic in receiving area and unload trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
