Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Feed Mill Utility Associate to maintain a clean and safe Feed Mill environment, assist with the receiving of feed ingredients, and manage visitor and truck traffic flow. This role supports emergency procedures and ensures operations run smoothly on site.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Must be able to work nights and weekends and follow detailed processes with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping procedures in the Feed Mill and grounds maintenance.
• Control access of staff, visitors, and trucks; verify credentials.
• Review and log inspection paperwork for trucks; direct traffic.
• Understand basic animal food safety and hygiene.
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Notify supervisor of suspected Quality or Food Safety events.
• Perform daily cleaning of Feed Mill facilities and grounds.
• Inspect and record equipment inspections as needed.
• Report issues with logs, trucks, etc.
