Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a maintenance technician to service and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveying systems in the feed mill. You will perform preventative maintenance using blueprints and diagrams to ensure equipment operates within specifications and tolerances.

The role involves diagnosing complex electrical/mechanical issues, performing repairs, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Ability to operate/use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, maintain and repair mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, conveyor, pump, steam and electrical systems.
• Identify root cause of complex mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Identify and implement fixes for recurring problems.
• Maintain safety and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Train entry level employees as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
