Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Missouri is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, repair and tune mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems across the feed mill.

Under minimal supervision you will read blueprints and schematics, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and document procedures. Willingness to work nights, weekends and extended shifts is required. Emphasis on safety and teamwork to uphold production standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
• Able to communicate in English and work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and conveyor systems.
• Identify root causes of complex issues and perform repairs using welding, fabrication and basic pipefitting.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections as scheduled.
• Assist with safety, documentation and training of entry level employees.
• Maintain blueprints and operating manuals as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:Primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveying systems/types of industrial equipment for the feed mill. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance using blueprints and diagrams to verify that all equipment is operating within required specifications and tolerances. May perform periodic testing and inspections, troubleshooting and repairs.
