Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking candidates for a 2nd shift position in our facilities in the United States. The role involves maintaining clean and organized office areas, lifting up to 30 lbs, and working in varying environments. You will follow all safety protocols and communicate effectively with Operations, Customers, and Vendors.

Background checks may be required for certain roles. Applicants should be prepared for holidays and weekends as scheduling requires.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated office areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting).
• Lift up to 30 lbs and bend, stoop, squat, twist repeatedly.
• Work independently with attention to detail.
• Exposure to hot, dusty, wet, cold environments and weather.
• Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as needed.
• Access elevated areas and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to Tyson Health and Safety protocols.
• Maintain good housekeeping of service areas.
• Communicate with Operations, Customers, and Vendors as required.
• Stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, sustain activity throughout the day.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to clean and supply designated office areas. (dusting, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, emptying trash and recycle cans and etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. bend, stoop, squat, and twist repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently and attentive to detail.
• Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
• Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
• Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
• Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
• Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
• Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
