Job summary

Central Farm Service is seeking a delivery team member to ensure accurate and efficient feed delivery to customer destinations. The role emphasizes safety, customer relations, and adherence to DOT/CSA standards, with pre-trip/post-trip inspections and proper reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination on the feed order.
• Maintain good customer relations through safe, professional delivery.
• Comply with federal and state DOT regulations and CSA standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and traffic/OSHA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance items.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order; present professionally.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.


• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations


• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores


• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations


• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor


• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times


• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.


• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)


• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification


• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines


• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
