Job summary

Central Farm Service (CFS) in Minnesota seeks a CDL Class A delivery driver to provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to destinations listed on feed orders. You will maintain excellent customer relations and comply with DOT regulations to support CSA scores.

The role requires one year of relevant experience or equivalent education, and you must maintain DOT medical certification and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Maintain a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical certification.
• One year of relevant delivery or driving experience or equivalent education.
• Insurability requirements met under company guidelines.
• Ability to comply with safety and traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination on the assigned feed order.
• Maintain good customer relations during deliveries.
• Comply with all federal and state DOT regulations and strive for strong CSA scores.
• Know and follow all safety policies and regulations; observe traffic laws and OSHA requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance items to supervisor.
• Maintain equipment in operational and clean appearance at all times.
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management.

In this job, the team member will provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient delivery of feed to the destination indicated on the assigned feed order.


• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations


• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores


• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations


• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor


• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times


• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.


• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)


• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification


• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines


• One-year relevant experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
