Job summary

Central Farm Service in Minnesota is seeking a team member for general labor duties supporting agronomy operations, including blending, loading, and product delivery at the location. You will perform related paperwork, manage inventory, and keep facilities and equipment in safe, clean condition.

The role requires a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, DOT medical certification, an insurable driving record, and the ability to obtain a commercial applicator license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform operational functions of the agronomy location including blending, loading, delivery of product and general labor.
• Complete all related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Manage inventory in accordance with company procedures/policies.
• Maintain facility and equipment, keeping it clean and in safe working condition.
• Assist in other departments/locations as needed.
• Ensure services are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations.
• Comply with all federal and state DOT regulations and strive for CSA scores.
• Follow safety policies and perform work safely respecting traffic laws and OSHA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance items.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and appearance.
• Represent yourself and Central Farm Service professionally at all times.
• Make decisions with little supervision.
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.

Position Objective:

In this job, the team member will be responsible for general labor duties of agronomy, efficient operations of the location and provide outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance – positively enriching the culture of CFS
• Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• Ability to obtain commercial applicators license
• Acceptable driving record
