Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s customized construction management system. The role includes immersive virtual and in-person sessions for various personnel, strong classroom facilitation, and support for organizational change during CMP deployment.

Responsibilities span pre-planned course delivery, participant guidance, attendance tracking, and collaboration with Training Managers and Program Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel 100% as required.
• Experience delivering software or enterprise training.
• Experience with government training programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training per lesson plans and materials.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement throughout training sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption efforts during CMP deployment activities.
