Job summary

Unison is seeking a Testing Lead to drive testing activities for PRISM upgrades and releases in a federal-focused environment. The role blends hands-on testing with leadership, coordinating QA resources and guiding technical teams, business stakeholders, and federal customer leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant experience testing integrated, web-based software applications.
• Demonstrated experience leading testing for upgrades, patches, fixes, releases, and system enhancements.
• Experience developing and executing testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts across functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression, and defect validation.
• Experience using defect-tracking, test-management, or configuration-management processes and tools.
• Ability to review and interpret business requirements, technical designs, workflows, user documentation, and system specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical process-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across project, technical, business, and customer teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required federal Public Trust determination.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall testing and release-validation strategy for upgrades, patches, fixes, new releases, and system enhancements.
• Develop, write, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements, technical designs, system specifications, and user workflows.
• Lead and execute SIT, UAT, upgrade testing, regression testing, and other testing activities as required.
• Coordinate with developers, requirements analysts, business analysts, designers, and customer stakeholders to verify issues and confirm resolutions.
• Review requirements, design documentation, user documentation, release notes, and project specifications for completeness, accuracy, and testability.
• Develop clear testing status reports, defect summaries, readiness assessments, and recommendations for leadership.
