Job summary

Fortress Information Security is seeking a Technical Recruiter, Federal Programs in Orlando (Hybrid) to own full-cycle recruiting for cleared DoD and federal program roles. You will forecast demand, build proactive pipelines, and manage audits while partnering with VP-level leadership to meet staffing timelines and security requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in recruiting with DoD experience, U.S. citizenship, and strong knowledge of clearance processes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recruiting experience, incl. 1 year recruiting cleared talent for federal or DoD contractors.
• Strong understanding of the military and intelligence community environment, security clearance levels and processes, and DoD technical certification requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume outreach and maintain precise records.
• Working knowledge of labor categories and staffing requirements.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Boolean and X-ray sourcing techniques.
• Understanding of OFCCP and federal contractor hiring compliance requirements.
• Ability to operate in a fluid, contract-driven environment.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for FGS hiring needs, including Technical Account Managers, cybersecurity analysts, and engineers.
• Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to define requirements, clearance needs, labor categories, and timelines.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and military networks.
• Partner with Program Managers on staffing plans and proposal resumes, sharing insights with leadership.
• Coordinate assessments, structured interviews, and panels to ensure competency alignment with contracts.
• Partner with the Facility Security Officer to verify clearance eligibility and perform pre-employment checks.
• Manage offers and negotiations, ensuring a positive candidate experience and audit-ready records.
• Track pipeline, source effectiveness, and leverage AI-enabled tooling within Fortress governance.
