Job summary

Fortress is seeking a Technical Recruiter, Federal Programs to own full-cycle recruiting for DoD and federal programs. You will lead intake with hiring managers, build pipelines across ClearanceJobs and LinkedIn, and drive structured hiring with minimal risk and compliant processes.

The role requires experience recruiting cleared talent, working with DoD standards, and coordinating with security to verify clearances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience; DoD/federal cleared talent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DoD crypto/certifications and security clearance processes.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume outreach and maintain precise records.
• Experience with ATS and Boolean/X-ray sourcing techniques.
• Understanding of OFCCP and federal contractor hiring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Fortress Government Solutions (FGS) programs, from sourcing to offer and start date.
• Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to define requirements and timelines.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and veteran networks.
• Partner with program managers on staffing plans and proposal resumes.
• Conduct structured screens and coordinate hiring manager panels; validate qualifications against requirements.
• Verify clearance eligibility with FSO and complete pre-employment checks.
• Manage offers, negotiate, and maintain audit-ready ATS records (OFCCP, VEVRAA, Section 503).
• Track pipeline, source effectiveness, and leverage AI-enabled automation to scale recruiting.
