Job summary

Plateau Software Inc. is hiring a Technical Recruiter to support government contracting programs. This onsite role in Fairfax, VA will manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and professional positions, with a focus on candidates who hold or are eligible for security clearances.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of government contracting recruiting experience and excels at sourcing, coordinating interviews, and onboarding within an ATS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience in government contracting.
• Experience recruiting for technical roles supporting federal programs.
• Familiarity with candidates who possess active or eligible security clearances.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using an ATS to manage recruiting workflows.
• Strong sourcing using platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical requirements, and program timelines.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify candidates with technical skills and security clearances for federal programs.
• Maintain and track candidate activity within the company ATS.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with government contracting hiring requirements.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired roles such as engineers, developers, architects, program managers, and other cleared professionals.
• Coordinate interview logistics and ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience.
• Work collaboratively with People Operations on onboarding and hiring process improvements.
• Support employer branding and outreach efforts including job boards, networking, and referrals.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.
