Job summary

Catch Talent is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support hiring across technical and professional roles for federal government programs.

You will source candidates, review qualifications, and manage the full lifecycle from outreach to start date while collaborating with hiring managers. You will learn the specific clearance requirements tied to federal positions and contribute to a growing team in a contractor environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
  • Track record engaging active and passive candidates.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and Boolean search.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to build credibility.
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple openings.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn technical roles and requirements.
  • Sound judgment assessing candidate fit, compensation alignment, and hiring risks.
  • Eligibility to work in the US for any employer; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

  • Source and engage active and passive candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, direct outreach, Boolean searches, and other sourcing strategies.
  • Review resumes, conduct candidate screens, and evaluate qualifications against technical requirements, clearance status, and fit.
  • Manage candidates through full recruiting lifecycle from outreach to start date.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, priorities, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified talent for current and future openings.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data in the ATS.
  • Learn the technical roles, certifications, security clearances, and contract specific requirements.
  • Flag potential hiring challenges early, including compensation alignment, availability, location, and clearance requirements.
  • Manage multiple openings and shifting priorities while delivering a strong candidate experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Review resumes, conduct candidate screens, and evaluate qualifications against technical job requirements, clearance status, and overall fit.
  • Manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle, from outreach and screening through interview coordination, offer support, and start date.
  • Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand position requirements, priorities, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified talent for current and future openings.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Learn the technical roles, certifications, security clearances, and contract specific requirements tied to the positions you support.
  • Flag potential hiring challenges early, including compensation alignment, availability, location, and clearance requirements.
  • Manage multiple openings and shifting priorities while delivering a strong candidate experience throughout.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, staffing, or a related relationship driven field.
  • A track record of identifying and engaging both active and passive candidates.
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and Boolean search techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow through, with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities at once.
  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System or comparable recruiting platform.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn technical roles, certifications, security clearances, and contract specific requirements.
  • Sound judgment when assessing candidate fit, compensation alignment, and other hiring risk factors.
  • Eligibility to work in the US for any employer, as sponsorship is not available.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
  • Experience with technical recruiting, government contracting, or cleared candidates.
  • Familiarity with proposal staffing or Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
