WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Source and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, direct outreach, Boolean searches, and other creative sourcing strategies.
- Review resumes, conduct candidate screens, and evaluate qualifications against technical job requirements, clearance status, and overall fit.
- Manage candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle, from outreach and screening through interview coordination, offer support, and start date.
- Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand position requirements, priorities, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified talent for current and future openings.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Learn the technical roles, certifications, security clearances, and contract specific requirements tied to the positions you support.
- Flag potential hiring challenges early, including compensation alignment, availability, location, and clearance requirements.
- Manage multiple openings and shifting priorities while delivering a strong candidate experience throughout.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, staffing, or a related relationship driven field.
- A track record of identifying and engaging both active and passive candidates.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and Boolean search techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organizational skills and follow through, with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities at once.
- Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System or comparable recruiting platform.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn technical roles, certifications, security clearances, and contract specific requirements.
- Sound judgment when assessing candidate fit, compensation alignment, and other hiring risk factors.
- Eligibility to work in the US for any employer, as sponsorship is not available.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Experience with technical recruiting, government contracting, or cleared candidates.
- Familiarity with proposal staffing or Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs.
