Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizen and able to pass federal background check and drug screen.
• PE license required.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Federal project experience preferred (USACE/DoD).
• Experience with foundations, buildings, bridges, dams, and related structures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the structural integrity of facilities.
• Review and approve structural design plans submitted by design team.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Provide structural enhancements recommendations if needed.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and safety.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are followed.
• Attend meetings and provide updates on structural aspects.
• Participate in design reviews and provide contractor comments.
• Document progress and report on construction activities.
