Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering or related field required.
- PE license required; US citizenship and ability to pass background/drug screen.
- Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience; favorable for federal/ DoD projects.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the structural integrity of facilities.
- Review and approve structural design plans submitted by the design team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Provide recommendations for structural enhancements when needed.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress of structural work.
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Attend project meetings to provide updates on structural aspects.
- Document progress and report construction activities.
