Job summary

Zoom's Federal Solutions Engineering team supports Civilian and DoD agencies with trusted technical guidance, deployment design, and PoCs. You will translate requirements into actionable recommendations, test environments, and advocate for customer feature requests across the sales cycle.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in pre-sales, strong UC/voice knowledge, and familiarity with FedRAMP, SIPRNet, SAML/SSO, and cybersecurity credentials. Hybrid/work options apply.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Solution Engineer in pre-sales.
• 7+ years of experience supporting technical sales in Federal Civilian Government or DoD environments.
• Knowledge of SaaS is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP, IL5, NIPRNet and SIPRNet, SAML/SSO, firewalls, routers, PBX, TDM, MPLS networks.
• Strong knowledge of AI, SIP, H.323, Microsoft Teams, firewall traversal, VoIP, CDNs.
• Federal clearance preferred, cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing product presentations and demonstrations, creating deployment designs and plans, implementing proofs of concept, and preparing responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Maintaining advanced proficiency across video, phone, customer experience, artificial intelligence, APIs/SDKs, networking, PBX, desktop, and mobile technologies.
• Serving as the trusted technical advisor, acting as the lead advocate for Federal clients during every stage of the sales cycle.
• Supporting Account Executives by proposing and designing solutions that address significant collaboration challenges faced by customers.
• Translating technical needs into product development suggestions while driving customer feature requests internally within Zoom.
