Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Federal Solutions Engineer to translate complex requirements into actionable product recommendations, design deployment plans, and respond to RFIs/RFPs for Federal Civilian and DoD clients.

You will partner with Account Executives to craft outcome-driven workflows, champion feature requests, and maintain deep expertise across video, UC, APIs/SDKs, and security topics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in pre-sales solution engineering for UC, video and voice.
• Experience supporting Federal Civilian Government or DoD.
• Knowledge of SaaS and cloud-based collaboration.
• Familiar with FedRAMP, IL5, NIPRNet, SIPRNet.
• Proficient with SAML/SSO, firewalls, routers and VPN concepts.
• Awareness of AI in collaboration platforms.
• Security certifications a plus (CISSP, OSCP, CISM, CEH, GSEC).

Responsibilities

• Provide product presentations and demos, design deployment plans, and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Maintain advanced proficiency across Zoom platforms and related technologies.
• Serve as trusted adviser during sales cycle for Federal clients.
• Support Account Executives by designing solutions addressing customer challenges.
• Translate customer needs into product development feedback for Zoom.
