Job summary

Coder is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for the Federal/Public Sector to partner with account executives and advance opportunities in civilian, defense, and intelligence communities. You will demonstrate, architect, and run proofs-of-concept in secure environments, guiding agencies from initial demos to technical wins.

You will install and operate Coder on GovCloud and on-prem Kubernetes, run PoCs for agentic AI development, and translate technical benefits into compelling business cases

Qualifications

Requires Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Minimum 5 years as a Solutions Engineer in infra or developer tooling
Experience selling to federal, defense, or IC customers
Strong customer-facing skills and ability to translate technical wins into business value

Responsibilities

Own the technical relationship with agency prospects through pre-sales toward a technical win
Demo the Coder platform for developers, admins, and AI agents in secured environments
Install and validate Coder on cloud and on-prem Kubernetes or VM infra, including air-gapped networks
Lead or support post-sales relationships and renewals when needed
Run PoCs and translate technical outcomes into business cases for federal customers
