Job summary

KPMG LLP in Chicago seeks a Manager for our Federal Advisory practice. You will perform Scrum Master functions, lead business process re-engineering, and coordinate requirements from the backlog into sprint planning to deliver cohesive solutions with IT partners.

The role requires at least five years of ServiceNow project management, an agile background, and the ability to obtain US Government clearance. Travel may be required to support firm engagements.

Qualifications

• Five years of ServiceNow project management experience leading application development teams.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Strong understanding of Agile processes and user story decomposition.
• Experience with requirements elicitation or the configuration of the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with business analysis tools/techniques.
• Familiarity with implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Applicant must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Scrum Master functions: conduct business needs identification, business analysis planning, stakeholder analysis and change activities, and requirements analysis and design definition.
• Lead business process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis of current/to-be processes with key customer sponsors and stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between business owners, end users, and IT partners ensuring cohesive approach, comprehensive solutions, and excellence in delivery; Work with stakeholders, focus groups and end users to analyze, evaluate, and develop business use cases and business process models to aid translation of business requirements into functional/technical requirements.
• Lead the flow of requirements from the product backlog into sprint planning, providing a controlled, joined-up overall view of the business and functional requirements at a detailed level.
• Maintain requirements documentation to ensure all approved business requirements, use cases, process flows, and reporting requirements are up to date.
• Monitor progress and deadlines for each application development team, identifying and addressing any potential bottlenecks or issues that may impact project timelines.
• Coordinate and prioritize the backlog of user stories and tasks for each business analyst, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and priorities.
