Guidehouse is seeking a Solution Architect to shape, scope, and align complex federal engagements, guiding presales and delivery to position customers for lasting success. You will drive architecture from solutioning through execution, ensuring scalable, maintainable outcomes across Salesforce platforms.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to teach complex concepts while advising on strategic program directions. Travel up to 25% is possible; U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree).
• Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform.
• U.S. citizenship is contractually required.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Candidates with an ACTIVE SECRET or higher-level clearance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shaping, scoping, and aligning complex engagements to position federal customers for long-term success.
• Drive architectural strategy from initial solutioning through execution.
• Review and correct project direction and artifacts to keep programs on track.
• Lead Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy and translate complexity into target-state designs.
• Lead discovery sessions, write user stories, and provide detailed system designs.
• Communicate clearly to stakeholders and develop audience-appropriate materials.
• Identify risk areas and drive issue resolution.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client and grow the consulting practice.
• Document business processes and wire-frame system designs using UML and diagrams.
