Job summary

Emergent, LLC, a Mythics subsidiary, is seeking a Sales Account Representative for the Red Hat federal territory. You will generate qualified opportunities, maintain accurate account and pipeline data, coordinate with Red Hat and internal resources, and support opportunities through the sales lifecycle.

You'll build relationships with customer, OEM, and partner contacts, conduct prospecting and account research, prepare customer presentations, and contribute to territory plans with a high degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of sales, business development, customer service, or related experience; federal-market experience is preferred.
• Experience using and maintaining a CRM system; Salesforce experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the assigned federal territory plan in coordination with Emergent sales leadership and Red Hat account and channel teams.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with customer, Red Hat, partner, and internal contacts, escalating executive engagement needs to sales leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct prospecting, account research, contact mapping, whitespace analysis, campaign follow-up, and other activities that generate qualified meetings and opportunities.
• Identify and support net-new, renewal, expansion, services, and training opportunities within assigned Red Hat federal accounts; progressively assume direct ownership as proficiency is demonstrated.
• Work with Red Hat sellers, solution architects, and Emergent technical resources to understand customer needs and position subscriptions, consulting, training, migration, and automation solutions.
