Job summary

Adeptus Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to support federal government business development, capture management, and proposal development initiatives.

This fully remote position focuses on coordinating and developing high-quality, compliant proposals for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs across government opportunities. The ideal candidate has five+ years in federal proposal writing, strong writing/editing skills, and a proven ability to drive schedules, reviews, and compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business Admin, Technical Writing, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of federal proposal writing/coordination experience.
• Experience supporting competitive U.S. federal proposals.
• Working knowledge of FAR and government procurement processes.
• Experience coordinating activities from solicitation analysis through submission.
• Ability to independently write and edit technical, management, staffing, and past performance narratives.
• Experience developing compliance matrices, outlines, schedules, and review materials.
• Strong written/verbal communication, editing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with SMEs, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate federal proposal development from pre-solicitation to final submission.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, assignments, and submission requirements.
• Write, edit, and refine technical, management, staffing, transition, and past performance sections.
• Ensure responses are compliant, responsive, and aligned with requirements.
• Coordinate activities across opportunities while meeting deadlines.
• FacilitatePink/Red/Gold Team reviews and final production reviews.
• Translate complex technical information into persuasive narratives.
• Collaborate with SMEs, program managers, and technical personnel.
• Conduct interviews and research to gather relevant information.
• Incorporate win themes and strategic messaging throughout submissions.
• Develop reusable proposal content and past performance narratives.
• Review materials for consistency, clarity, grammar, formatting, and compliance.
