Job summary

EMCOR Government Services in Alexandria, Virginia, seeks a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Specialist to own the RFQ process across federal government and commercial contracts. You will support capture, pricing, proposal teams, source subcontractors and vendors, develop RFQ packages, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS.

The role requires independence, self-motivation, and experience in procurement with a bias toward government contracting and facilities services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in federal government contracting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or 5+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of RFQ/RFP processes and FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Proven ability to perform cost and price analysis and negotiate supplier terms.
• 3+ years experience in facilities maintenance, repair and/or construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Vendor Management Platforms, and SAP or similar.

Responsibilities

• Review PWS/SOW from clients to verify accuracy and develop subcontracting requirements.
• Develop, issue, and manage RFQ packages for subcontractors and vendors.
• Perform cost and price analysis on RFQ responses for fair, reasonable pricing.
• Collaborate with capture, proposal, and pricing teams to align procurement strategies.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS and company procurement policies throughout RFQ process.
• Track RFQ progress, supplier performance, and spend analytics.
