Job summary

McKing Consulting Corporation is seeking a Project Analyst to support FEMA’s PMO with routing, tracking, and information collection tasks. You will work with executive leadership and agency offices to ensure responses meet procedures and timelines, including responding to congressional, White House, and media inquiries.

The role is hybrid with remote work emphasis and requires strong communication, detailed task management, and the ability to operate with minimal guidance in a DHS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 4+ years in fast-paced multi-tasking roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint document management.
• Experience tracking multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Eligible for DHS Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as FEMA directorate entry point for inquiries requiring agency response.
• Compose correspondence for routing and tracking information task requests.
• Ensure clear communications with FEMA staff and DHS components.
• Interface with division personnel to secure information and timelines.
• Provide logistical support for a FEMA directorate.
• Review FEMA/DHS policies to ensure compliance.
• Meticulously track tasks from start to finish per procedures.
• Provide training to FEMA staff on information routing processes.
• Facilitate approvals for congressional, White House, and media inquiries.
• Ensure written materials are accurate and audience-appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
