Mayvin, Inc. seeks a Personnel Security Specialist to support the Office of Security Programs for the U.S. Marshals Service in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities include reviewing investigative results, summarizing issues for adjudication, identifying derogatory information, and determining follow-up inquiries to finalize security determinations

Qualifications

• Experience with federal personnel security processes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate the results of investigative agency reports to determine employment, suitability, and/or security eligibility for USMS.
• Summarize investigative issues on the adjudicator's worksheet, recommending approval/disapproval and noting pertinent suitability, security, and mitigating factors.
• Identify, corroborate, and/or mitigate significant derogatory information.
• Determine the need for additional inquiries to resolve discrepancies, negative findings, or conflicting information.
• Analyze responses to follow-up inquiries or letters and provide final recommendations based on established suitability and security criteria.
