Job summary

Sancorp Consulting LLC is seeking a dedicated Personnel Security Analyst in Chesapeake, VA. The role focuses on supporting federal personnel vetting processes, adjudications, and continuous vetting activities.

You will prepare reports, manage documentation, and help determine clearance outcomes, working on-site with occasional travel. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of PV experience, a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), and strong coordination with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of personnel vetting (PV) support experience for federal agencies.
• Experience with adjudication or fitness/suitability processing is preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security files and background investigation packages to assess loyalty and trustworthiness.
• Process PV documents for investigations, adjudications, CV alerts, and suitability decisions.
• Conduct specialized adjudicative reviews weighing an individual's history to evaluate risk to Federal service.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports and recommendations to grant or revoke clearances.
• Update security systems and track cases to Ready for DO review.
