Job summary

Alluvionic is seeking a Personnel Security Assistant to support the Office of Security Programs within the U.S. Marshals Service.

The role works with other government agencies, contractors, and federal employees to support initial and reinvestigations for the federal background process. Responsibilities include determining the appropriate level of investigation, conducting CVS record checks, inviting applicants into NBIS eApp, resolving discrepancies, fingerprinting, and performing NCIC/NLETS

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required.
• 3+ years of personnel security experience.
• 3+ years with NBIS eApp initiation and review.
• 3+ years conducting NCIC/NLETS inquiries and credit checks.
• Advanced MS Office Suite skills required.

Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriate level of initial investigation and reinvestigation.
• Conduct preliminary CVS checks to verify designation requirements.
• Invite applicants into NBIS eApp and assist with access issues.
• Determine if additional inquiries are needed to resolve discrepancies.
• Fingerprint applicants, perform NCIC/NLETS inquiries and credit checks.
