Job summary

The OPS Grant Manager serves the Florida Division of Emergency Management in Tallahassee, managing grants for federal mitigation programs including Flood Mitigation Assistance, Pre-Disaster Mitigation, and Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities.

The role provides technical assistance to local governments and sub-applicants, handles contract administration, monitors project compliance, processes reimbursements, and prepares required reports for FEMA.

Qualifications

• FCCM certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of state and federal grant programs and contract administration procedures
• Ability to manage all aspects of grants including budgets, scopes of work, and compliance monitoring
• Skill in public speaking, presentations, and written communication
• Ability to travel overnight and work non-traditional hours during emergency events
