Job summary

Woolpert, a global architecture, engineering and geospatial firm, seeks a Federal Market Director to lead the Buildings Sector's Federal Market across the Army, Navy, and other agencies, in US and abroad, reporting to the EVP. You will guide strategy, growth, and delivery while aligning plans with Woolpert's objectives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Federal Market leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering; business degree a plus.
• Strong network in Federal marketplace with client track record.
• Strategic thinker who can connect vision and strategy to tactical execution.
• Proven cross-functional team leadership.
• Strong organizational development and delegation.
• Proven ability to lead, build, and hold teams accountable.
• Excellent communication and trust-building with clients and staff.
• Strong market knowledge with financial and business acumen.
• Proactive self-starter with decisive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a clear federal market development strategy.
• Coordinate strategy with peers from Infrastructure and Geospatial Sectors.
• Provide leadership in development and evaluation of strategic financial objectives with emphasis on sales and growth.
• Drive and own the Market’s business plan to achieve market objectives.
• Build and deliver trusted advisor reputation with Woolpert clients while growing revenue and profitability.
• Become a subject matter expert of our client’s business models and industry expert for Woolpert.
• Achieve growth goals globally by expanding wallet-share and securing new clients.
• Build, develop, and lead a team focused on Federal clients.
• Manage multiple priorities to meet Woolpert and Federal Market needs.
