Fayetteville Technical Community College is hiring a full-time Business Development Professional to support the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC). This role engages with businesses in Northeastern North Carolina to enhance federal contract opportunities and involves public outreach, technical assistance, and relationship building with contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and experience in business development and military procurement, with a minimum starting salary of $57,026 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a related field.
• Combination of education or experience equivalent to four years in business development and/or military procurement.
• Working knowledge of military procurement systems and procedures.
• Work experience in military procurement.

Responsibilities

• Build public and business awareness of military and federal business opportunities.
• Conduct consultations with businesses for federal market engagement.
• Assess client companies’ capabilities in business development and contracting.
• Provide technical assistance for federal solicitations and proposals.
• Identify federal contract opportunities and assist in sourcing.
• Develop teaming relationships between NC subcontractors and federal prime contractors.
• Maintain liaison with contracting officials to promote NC businesses.
