Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced management consulting professional to lead and deliver large federal engagements, driving service delivery excellence, performance optimization, and workforce management across civilian agencies.

The role requires a public trust eligibility, a Bachelor’s degree, and 7+ years of federal consulting experience, with travel up to 25% and in-office work three days a week near Arlington.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; active/public trust suitability preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
• 7+ years of post‑graduation consulting experience in federal, state, or local government.
• Experience leading large-scale Federal managed services, outsourcing, or consulting engagements for 25–200+ personnel.
• Demonstrated expertise in service delivery management, operational transformation, workforce optimization, and performance improvement.
• Experience managing operational metrics, SLAs, quality assurance, and continuous improvement programs.
• Ability to travel.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the Guidehouse Arlington Office and work in the office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to large-scale Federal managed services and consulting engagements supporting workforces of 25 to 200+ personnel.
• Drive service delivery excellence, operational performance, workforce management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support business process outsourcing (BPO), shared services, and organizational transformation efforts across Federal Civilian Agencies, including USDA, GSA, DOL, USAC, and DOC.
• Oversee and improve complex service operations that may include managed services, customer/contact centers, loan servicing, financial management operations, and enterprise PMO functions.
• Partner with clients to implement scalable operating models, performance management frameworks, automation, and service optimization strategies.
