Job summary

Golden Star Technology Inc. (GST) seeks an IT Federal Sales Director to drive federal sales strategy and growth in the U.S. federal market from its Washington, DC base.

This executive leads a sales team, builds new business, and cultivates relationships within the federal sector, leveraging extensive industry experience in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading business units, closing federal opportunities, and managing multi-tier partner ecosystems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Extensive federal industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal contracts and procurement processes.
• Vendor certifications or related credentials.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• 7+ years in federal sales and 7+ years in management/leadership.
• Exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive federal sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin goals.
• Identify, pursue, and close opportunities within targeted federal accounts.
• Create and manage a territory sales plan, including prospecting and pipeline development.
• Oversee dealer, distributor, and OEM relationships and multi-tier engagement.
• Own customer issues to ensure timely, definitive resolution.
• Identify opportunities to expand offerings through resources, vendor solutions, and services.
• Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and quarterly business reviews.
