Job summary

SAIC in Reston, Virginia seeks an experienced Program Management Director to lead a large-scale Federal IT services program, including GAO engagements. You will be the primary Government liaison and decision-maker to ensure mission success across a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.

You will supervise 50+ contractor personnel, drive program performance, manage IT architectures, lead SAFe Agile execution, and oversee on-prem and cloud service delivery with SLAs and XLAs, while negotiating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field and 18 years or more of related experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex information systems architectures involving multiple disparate databases, networks, and communications subsystems.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience leading complex IT operating environments of 50+ personnel across multi-disciplinary job categories.
• 5+ years managing a program of comparable size and scope to a large-scale Federal IT services contract.
• Demonstrated experience managing programs operating under a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing on-premise and off-premise cloud-based service delivery, including SLA, XLA, and performance metrics management.
• Demonstrated experience working with Federal IT leadership, negotiating contracts, monitoring service performance, and delivering cost-effective IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Government liaison and single point of contact for contractual and programmatic matters with Government stakeholders at all levels.
• Provide strategic direction and day-to-day oversight for 50+ contractor personnel across diverse disciplines.
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness of all contract deliverables across technical operations and business processes.
• Oversee management of complex IT environments with multiple databases, networks, and communications subsystems.
• Champion and manage a SAFe program environment across all workstreams and delivery teams.
• Oversee on-premise and cloud-based service delivery with SLAs, XLAs, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain relationships with GAO IT leadership and other federal providers.
• Lead contract negotiations, monitor service performance, and identify cost-effective solutions.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks before they impact performance; represent the contractor in Government issues.
