Qualifications

• BA in Human Resources or closely related field, or 8 years of HR experience.
• 8 years of progressively responsible staffing or related HR experience.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Experience with classifications and federal government HR.

Responsibilities

• Provides position classification support to Lines of Business and Staff Offices.
• Develops job descriptions and classifies positions per standards.
• Implements standardized position descriptions for various occupations.
• Advises managers on designing positions for complex organizations.
• Ensures accuracy and consistency in applying classification standards.
• Keeps abreast of classification policy decisions and guidance.
• Communicates internal classification policies and procedures.
• May conduct position reviews and desk audits as assigned.
• Develops audit reports.
• May advise on application of policies and procedures.
