Responsibilities

• Adjudicates classification appeals by analyzing appeal records, position descriptions, organizational structures, classification standards and applicable policies; prepares well-supported appeal decisions based on research and fact-finding.
• Develops and delivers classification training for HR professionals across the Department and assesses training needs. Develops and coordinates classification packages for higher-level review or approval.
• Provides expert technical advice on classification matters while maintaining impartiality and consistency with the classification appeals function.
