Job summary

Waters Advanced Diagnostics seeks a highly strategic National Account Executive, Government to drive growth in federal healthcare markets across VA, DHA/DoD, IHS, NIH, CDC and other agencies. You will partner with distributors to maximize federal opportunities and strengthen market penetration, with travel ~50% and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes executive relationship building, strategic planning, and complex contract navigation in a regulated, high-volume testing

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or capital equipment.
• Proven success selling to VA and DoD/DHA.
• Track record of exceeding revenue objectives in government settings.
• Experience influencing multi-stakeholder purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal healthcare account growth with strategic plans.
• Build executive relationships across procurement, clinical and logistics leaders.
• Manage visibility of forecasts, pipelines, and account plans.
• Develop distributor channel plans with Fisher Scientific, Cardinal Health, Medline, etc.
• Support State, Local, and Educational Government opportunities.
• Navigate federal contracting and market access processes.
