Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior leader to drive growth in the US Federal sector, focusing on capture management, strategic planning, and major A/E program wins. You will partner with federal account managers and marketing to shape win strategies and proposals, while guiding teams across the organization.

You will represent Stantec in client interviews, manage complex pursuits, and travel as needed to win high-value opportunities while upholding our ethical standards and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the US federal marketplace and service offerings in the A/E industry.
• Proven track record in winning major A/E contracts and other program contracts including Design Build.
• Strong relationship building, negotiation, and business development capabilities.
• Ability to translate visionary guidance into strategic planning and actionable execution.
• Leads by example and fosters collaboration across teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide capture leadership on multiple federal opportunities including go/no go decisions, budget planning, strategy, and proposal support.
• Develop and execute detailed capture plans to win opportunities.
• Foster collaboration between account managers and marketing for high-quality proposals.
• Build and maintain internal and external networks to expand strategic teaming.
• Lead strategic planning and participate in client interviews to win programs.
• Conduct go/no-go assessments to determine pursuit feasibility.
