Axle is seeking a Grants Management Specialist to join the NIH team in Bethesda, MD, providing comprehensive grants management and administrative support to satisfy NIH objectives.

The role covers the full federal grants lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, financial monitoring, compliance, reporting, records management, and closeout activities. Bachelor’s degree required; five years’ federal grants exp. preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of federal grants management or grants administration experience required
• NIH grants management experience preferred
• Three (3) or more years of finance, accounting, or grants financial management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide grants management and administrative support across the full federal grants lifecycle
• Support pre-award, award, post-award, financial monitoring, compliance, reporting, records management, and closeout activities
• Maintain SF-424, budget forms, modular budgets, and indirect cost calculations
• Review grant budgets for administrative completeness and accuracy
• Enter and maintain award information in NIH grants management systems
