Job summary

Axle is seeking a Senior Grants Advisor to support the NHLBI Office of Grants Management at NIH in Bethesda, MD. The role involves independently providing grants management support for competing applications and related activities to ensure timely and policy-compliant processing.

The candidate will triage applications, perform administrative analyses, and facilitate communication with grantees and Federal staff. Master’s degree and 12+ years NIH grants mgmt experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve years of NIH grants management experience.
• Experience processing competing grant applications and award packages.
• Experience reviewing budgets, compliance, and award readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide grants management support for competing applications and related processes.
• Facilitate communication with grantees and Federal staff on administrative issues.
• Prepare and review correspondence addressing prior approvals and funding actions.
• Collaborate with program and grantee staff to gather information prior to award.
