Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Director of Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) for the Federal business. You will lead a team of Delivery & Engagement Managers and Technical Program Managers, partnering with customers to deliver data and AI solutions at scale in the U.S.

federal sector. You will own the P&L, drive strategic GTM, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to close high-impact opportunities while building durable relationships with government stakeholders and partners

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance (or better) required.
• 10+ years of overall leadership experience.
• Experience in high-growth enterprise software pre-sales or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of DEMs and TPMs.
• Drive culture and operational rigor in a fast‑growth environment.
• Develop, promote, and drive a value-based FDE organization with key accounts.
